Title: Boot Lock Post by: normd on January 19, 2004, 11:38:55 AM Hi Guyzzz
These are the bits we got out of the boot when the lock decided it didn't want to be there anymore Question :- Are there any bits missing , or just re-assemble ? or :- has anyone got the missing bits ? (http://photo.starblvd.net/~normd/4-3-5.jpg) (Mrs is waiting for reply , as she would like to get out of the boot ;D) shhh don't hurry ! ! ! Norm :) Title: Re: Boot Lock Post by: ACE on January 19, 2004, 11:44:30 AM Hi Norm,
It appears to be all there except for the boot lock seal. Regards ACE 8) Title: Re: Boot Lock Post by: normd on January 19, 2004, 11:54:47 AM Thanks ACE
The lock doesn't have to be sealed , so I'll just put it back together , the car will be only out of the shed a few days each year. (Mrs will be pleased ;D) Norm :) Title: Re: Boot Lock Post by: zulu on January 19, 2004, 12:23:02 PM Hey Norm, you might find the lock will be less sloppy if you make a ring shaped gasket or seal to fit between the exterior bodywork & the lock, usually rubber but gasket paper might be ok, pass the wife in a pair of scissors & a torch to make it for you! :)
