Title: Baby/Child Seat into FC Sedan Post by: Rod miskin on November 19, 2003, 11:43:10 AM Has anybody fitted (legally) a baby/child seat to the rear seat of an FE or FC sedan?

Yes, this can be done. I did mine years ago. You will need to buy the seat belts and the additional kits that contain the reinforcing plates for cars with non factory fittings. Here in NSW, they have Authourised Fitting Stations who can check and/or fit all mounts. I would guess that something similar may exist in Vic. 6 square inch plate (ie 2 inch x 3 inch) behind the bolt. Plate must be 3 mm thick with radiused corners and edges on the side which contacts the metal. Ken |
