Title: please help to find chassis number

At last i have purchased a FC holden special sedan, i wanted an original but settled for a modified car , it has a 186 red motor three speed box on the floor, a HR front end , i am going to get the beast up to roadworthy soon i hopr and have it back on the road, can someone tell me where the chassis number is on the car as i cant find it. i need it to put on my application form to join the FE/FC holden car club of victoria , Thanks .

Body number should be fairly easy to see on inner guard on RHS under bonnet.  Have you checked out the tech section of the club site?

Phantom, on the top step of the inner rh guard, just beside the wiring loom.  Basically about half way along.

Welcome Phantom,

There are some great people who frequent this site............ and then there's Kiwi. Be wary of anything he tells you!

He does know a lot about Old Holden's, very little about Rugby.

Thank you for the encouragement Rob.

I do take my role as "Taker of Piss out of Kiwis" and "Alerter to the Evil kiwi" very seriously.

It can be a lonely, thankless task, but occaisionally guys like you say those few positive things that keep me going.

of course being the emu correcter and anti emu squad chief keeps me very busy as this damm emu is liable to pop up in any thread any where anytime i am allways having to scan this forum to protect people from emus wrongfull ways word of advice never by a sun visor off emu u never know what its off.
kiwi fc/ek protecter of people from the damm emu

just for the record
i was educated at ryde high school sydney nsw
and was a parts manager for city ford in melbourne for 5 years hell that makes me more australian than most of you ::) ::)
