Title: vacuum wiper motor fc help Post by: greg windon on January 12, 2001, 01:00:00 PM would any one have a vacuum wiper motor for a fc in working order as my one has not got enough suction to opperate the wipers i have pulled mine appart to repair it but cannot work out why it has no grunt im on the central coast gosford area
Title: Re: vacuum wiper motor fc help Post by: Ken McLean on January 13, 2001, 01:00:00 PM Greg, cause of failure is air leaking past the paddle due to the rubber being worn flat. Good second hand ones can be tested by holdin your thumb over the inlet pipe whilst operating the wiper by hand (switch in the on position) A good motor will provide resistance to turning.
