The car belonged to Andrew Burns , he spent 2 yrs & $11,200 in 1982 , it has a reworked 350 Chev, Toyota 4-sp 3.36 diff , Torana axles , 7" Hotwires.

   Hope you enjoy these
     Norm
PS . Harko must have seen this Magazine before , there's a "How To"  CHOP the top of an EK Van  ;D

Single circuit brakes and no sign of a booster. This baby had all the go but not much whoa!

just like this fine example.

I distinctly remember seeing a big block EH sedan (black) at AHD 2 or 3 years ago, I'm puzzled at how it had NSW rego with a big block Chev, but even more miffed at the single circuit brakes with copper lines!

Cheers

Ed

Don't worry Ed, the FE Van has got a built in circuit breaker - the standard 3.36 diff. Just put your foot down too hard and it blows up.  It even has a secondary safety overload - the Toyota gearbox.

See, intrinsic safety  ;D
