Title: Gearbox Crossmember/Chassis Kit. Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on March 26, 2025, 06:11:41 PM One of the last puzzle pieces for my panel van is to sort out the gearbox crossmember, the old one was some booger welded SHS that had a 5mm wall thickness, and was just bolted to the floor with spacers.
I'd like to do a neater job but I'm reluctant to fork out $1K for a CRS chassis kit when I only really need the rails and crossmember. Has anyone done a DIY arrangement? Any tips or tricks?
