Title: FC differential drainage
Post by: fc25250 on January 11, 2025, 07:38:52 AM
Must be getting silly in my old age but decided to change diff oil
Found the filler hole plug removed it checked oil level and sitting at about half an inch below plug hole.
Then looked for drain plug ? Nothing to be seen !
So my question is does the bolt at the bottom diff on front side act as drain plug ?
Check available literature and all appear to carefully avoid mention
Appreciate direct from those in the know
Thanks

Yes. The bolt is the drain. New copper washer recommended on reinstalling.
