Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: Hewart on September 12, 2003, 09:56:29 AM Nice looking ute...! is the roof a different colour though, or is that just the light playing tricks with my eyes... :o and if it is different, I wonder if it extends onto the bonnet etc...?
Cheers Les.. Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: customFC on September 12, 2003, 10:34:49 AM That was a VERY nice car. I believe it was formally built and owned by a NSW club member, Arthur Andrews. When Arthur sold it, it was pale blue in colour, with chromies. I think the choice of colour and wheels is very striking, and I LOVE IT.
Here's some pics. Regards Alex Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: customFC on September 12, 2003, 10:36:38 AM Oh, I forgot to say, the roof was white.

Cheers.. Les... Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: craiga on September 12, 2003, 11:19:17 AM What's interesting about the ute is the guy who owned it told me he wasn't that keen on the colour. Like Alex, I reckon that's what makes it such a lovely looking car.
BTW Alex, when are you holding your next camera course, because I'm in! That last shot is an unbelievably good one. Cheers, Craig. Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: HARKO on September 12, 2003, 11:35:22 AM The number plates are telling us fibbs arent they
And what size wheels are they 16s, 17s ,18s ,20s ,22s ??? Title: Re: FC Ute Post by: craiga on September 12, 2003, 11:43:12 AM Harko,
FWIK it's got a red motor, HR front, and Commodore disc brake diff. I'm pretty sure the wheels are 17's. The guy who owns it did a lot of work with Joe from the club who is building a Chev powered FC. Cheers, Craig. |
