Title: Wanted: set of grey motor lifters Post by: Harv on July 23, 2019, 06:31:55 AM I'm getting closer to having my Norman-blown, meth fed grey motor project screwed together. Unfortunately, I am short a set of lifters.
I had a good working spare set, but gave them away a few months back to get a bloke out of trouble during his engine rebuild. I had one more spare set in a seized motor, which I pulled out last weekend. Sadly, they are in too rough a shape to use. If anyone has a spare set of lifters, please let me know. Happy to pay for the parts, and for postage. You are welcome to the lifters out of it if you cannot find a set. We built a 132 for the car, so I don’t need them at the moment. The engine is out in the sticks in a mates shed, so it might take a few weeks to get to them that is the only problem. I have no idea what state they are in. The engine was running, but very tired. Just replace them down the track at some point, if you find some others. Peter.
