Title: Winscreen Wiper Scratches Post by: MathewLu@hotmail.com on November 19, 2000, 01:00:00 PM Is there any way of getting rid of scratches caused by windscreen wipers ? those semi-circular scratches that are caused when, say your bladed slips out of it's clip, and the edges of that clip scrapes along you windscreen....can this be taken off? if so how?

I have heard that they can be polished out, but this is a specialised job as you can crack the screen. If they are not too deep you could try it yourself. You could also try contacting your local airfield to see what the flyboys do to remove scratches from their screens, I have heard they get theirs polished out.
