Title: After Market Disc Brakes
Post by: Torf on August 26, 2017, 07:25:10 PM
Hi, Can Anyone Put Me In The Right Direction With After Market Disc Brakes For My 1958 FC Wagon With A HR Frontend,
Running 13" Tasman Wheels.

                                                     With Thanks

Lots of options, depending how far you want to change things. Best bet is to give Hoppers Stoppers a call - great blokes to work with, and can talk you through the options depending on your budget and how much you are willing to change.

Cheers,

The main consideration you will have is what size rims you want to run, and what offset you want.
13 inch rims will limit you to HR or Torana discs
14 inch gets you HK to HZ options, early commodore and P76 kits
15 inch and bigger gets you the more exotic later commodore / Falcon kits

Ok, more exotic than HZ, but not really in the class of Brembos!!!
