Hoping to find a high note horn. Please let me know if you have one for sale.

There are a pair on eBay at the moment for $150.
All the brackets and wiring are right
Price is a little high but not outrageous.

Yes, thanks Ken. I saw the add & thought perhaps someone had one sitting in their shed.

They are pretty hard to get, especially the mirror image bracket.

OK, that will probably attract a few bidders.
I found the single horn that came off my car today & it's a Lucas, not RVB. Were Lucas horns used in some Sydney built FCs?
Can't imagine it would have been changed over before I bought the car back in the early 70's.

Yes, early in FC from memory. Early ones are like the ones on eBay whilst later ones did not have the dome back on them.

That sounds like the one. Made in England & the dome is held on with a screw in the middle.

Unfortunately no, the early one with the dome cap is clip on, no screw. The later one is aluminium cast on both sides. The horn with the screw through the cap is an aftermarket replacement.

The car is a late '59 build so it must have been replaced for whatever reason.
