I have these which include all of the little brackets and bolts (at least I think there all there)

     picked up the tailgate parts l needed  , also had a quick look at kens new fc  very nice old original car
      will make a good weekend cruiser ,leave it as is ,  drive and enjoy

Following on this thread.  How do you fit new rubbers to the tailgate irons?

  You would have to split the rubber length ways  ,place it on the bar
  then super glue the rubber together again .

    easiest way l think.

I would think the rubber would be slid on and then the rod cold formed in a jig.
Very hard to reproduce the look with a vice and a hammer :P

They are a weird kind of rubber.
I reckon they are formed in a mould around the rod ?

At a guess the rubber would have been moulded on to the iron assembly.

I can cut them out of rubber on the water jet with a slot in one side idont think they would need glueing as it would hold its form.
