Title: Long term storage
Post by: surferboy on September 16, 2016, 10:33:17 PM
I am putting Cathys "ugly duckling" into storage. :'(
We've pulled to many bits off it, it's got to much rust and has a big dent in left rear panel. so it's not entirely roadworthy  ::)
We've promised the grandson that he can have it to rebuild when he is old enough to drive.
We were going to keep it rego'd to save it having to go over the pits and be engineered etc. But we can't afford it at current rego prices :o
So when he does rebuild it he is going to have to do it properly :)

We drove it into the shed to keep it dry.
And that's where it's going to sit for the next 7(?) years

What do I need to do to store it correctly to keep it in the best shape over the next few years ?
