Title: High beams on the light switch.
Post by: NES304 on September 07, 2016, 04:05:44 PM
Had the light switch setup so first pull was Parkers AND headlights. Second pull was high beam- which worked until I realised that the rear red night lights were not working when on high beam.
Anyone know how to get around having a dipper switch?
This may void the dipper switch I was looking for in the parts wanted bit

I'm sure I could find you a dipper switch if you are stuck . You want the original that comes from the underside through the floor ? Your dash lights would also go off on high beam along with your tail lights wouldn't they ? Anyway PM me if you want it back to normal and can't get the bits you need . Cheers Haydn

Have another look at how you've wired it up. The original switch should have the rear parkers active on both the first and second positions. It sounds to me like the rear lights are on the wrong post.

Yep, rear lights should work on first and second pull.
