Title: Fe Special Sedan
Post by: mad56 on August 17, 2016, 09:43:01 AM
Hows it going .
First time with an FE and first time posting.
I brought this Fe of a fella on the north side of Brizzy. He did not have any real history on this car.
I noticed that it has one of your club stickers on the car and was wandering if anyone knows the car and any history
for the car. It has had a lot of work done to it at some point.
Its running a red 202 with a 3sp on the floor and a hr diff 3.36

It's easily recognised so you should find some interesting history on this forum.

From the ID plate.
FE-225-27132-S   FE Special Sedan, the 27,132nd manufactured in Sydney, NSW.

As for the rest of the numbers, I may be reading them incorrectly.
284-717   The Exterior Trim Code (284) describes this car as Unknown: The Interior Trim Code (717) refers to: Persian Turquoise & Parchment Ivory.
253-7472    The paint colour is Royal Marine (in DUCO Lacquer)
256-7698    The secondary colour is Castle Grey (in DUCO Lacquer)

Hi Guys.

I believe that ID plate contains a mistake or a mis-stamping.

I think the 284 should read 248 which is GM-H code for Castle Grey over Royal Marine, which then agrees with the paint numbers.

Did this car have grey roof & a blue body or a blue roof & a grey body ?

Dr Terry

Is the mod plate for the 202?
