Title: HK springs in HR front?
Post by: Longman on June 27, 2016, 03:52:01 PM
I am looking at new springs for my HR front end. I'm using standard height spindles with VS brakes. A mate suggested i get HK V8 springs with 50mm lowering. Can anyone advise what this would equate to when the weight of an inj 5L is on it, as far as ride height goes? Can anyone offer a better solution? Looking at 16" rims eventually. Cheers.

I had heavy duty springs 2" lowered in my HR front equipped EK. Ride was harsh and went back to lowered stockies. I was only running a 186 M20 combo though.
