Title: Sneaky snake Post by: zulu on June 10, 2016, 05:06:05 AM I was taking my dog for a drive/walk yesterday arvo and something appeared mascot like above the bullbar
So pulled over and (http://s33.postimg.org/nflb1wdqj/20160609_154800.jpg) ($2) It was some kind of python or tree snake emerging from through the grill Had to wait about 10 minutes for it slide out onto the bonnet About 6ft or 1.8 flicked it off with a stick and on my way Needless to say I checked the ute out pretty good when I got home Title: Re: Sneaky snake Post by: Harv on June 10, 2016, 06:41:00 AM That's the GMH version of a Dodge Viper or Ford Cobra engine swap ;D.

These animals are territorial and if removed can return many miles to their chosen domain . This is a good thing because of a slow metabolism if a venomous snake bites a python it has little to no effect ,but if the reverse happens the venomous snake will die of its wounds becoming infected , therefore having a python around can deter most venomous snakes .Haydn

Eighty kays of track later pulled up at Copley roadhouse opened the door and got out. Four foot brown hovered its head out between inner and outer guard. Left the door open and went in to the roadhouse. Manager went out and dispatched it with a stick. Must have flicked up into engine bay and slithered between the panels. Never run one over since.
Around the same time the neighbor was driving off in his XC coupe when he heard strange noises. Not surprising you say as it was a F0£D. Pulled over and out jumps out cat and runs off. Must have found a warm spot under the bonnet as it was s cold night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
