Title: Steel Brake Line on diff housing
Post by: drusse on June 06, 2016, 08:38:18 PM
Gents,
I have burred the nut connecting the steel pipe to the wheel cylinder on the rear passenger side. I have been able to remove the pipe by disconnecting it on the drivers side at the brass junction block.
Does anyone know whether a brake repairer can replace this nut or do l have to buy a new complete pipe?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
David

Hey mate, I did exactly the same thing! if the pipe is long enough, they can cut the end off, flare it and fit a new nut. I think it cost about 15 bucks from memory. Make sure you use the proper flare nut spanners! I didn't.....
