Title: 5 Speed Gearbox issue, can you help me out Post by: Jordo on April 25, 2016, 01:09:31 PM Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me solving a problem with my 5 speed celica gearbox. I have just had the box out to have rear bush that supports the tail shaft yoke replaced and a check over the rest of the internals, as I was having trouble getting into gear. The stick would stop just before engaging and would need a bit of effort to engage any gear.
I had the work done by a specialist and was told nothing wrong but now after reinstalling it will not go into gear at all, it just grinds.The clutch is disengaging and plate is free and when engine is off and clutch in it still would not go into gear. Any help would be great. If not, then the selectors may not be mashed properly inside the box.
