Can you get replacement standard wheel nuts these days?

If you mean nuts with the correct taper to fit original rims, I believe they are readily available from RS & I guess many other places.
I hadn't realised there was a difference until I bought some chrome rims last year. They fit the brake drums correctly, but the wheel nut taper isn't the same as the originals.
