Title: Fe wheel well and tyre
Post by: fe350chev on January 19, 2015, 02:31:34 PM
Just wanting to know if the standard fe wheel sits in the centre of the wheel well exactly or if it favours the inner or outer side. Got no car here to check sorry. It's somewhere else. Thanks.

The wheel once in the well and clamped at the top will only sit in one position.

Sorry Ken, I'm meaning the ones either side not the boot ones. I'm setting up my shortened diff and I am trying to find an offset rim (I've borrowed numerous ones) that make both sides line up with the centre of the standard wheels as I have 2 diffs adjacent each other and so I have heard you and other people say that the front is better to favour closer to the inner guard for clearance. So with a standard car on the ground I wanted a bit of an idea as to how central a standard wheel is within the guards (I suppose it's an upside down wheel well lol)
