Title: Rear doors - Support Assy
Post by: DJ on December 31, 2014, 07:43:30 PM
I can't imagine why these would have been pulled out of the back doors years ago but I no longer have part number 47 in the pic below.
If any one has 2 spare, please send cost inc post to 2615 (ACT).

Hey DJ I had the same problem I think the roller gets stuffed up and the door gets hard to close I was lucky that I had a box of stuff I picked up from somewhere and there was a couple in amongst the stuff.

That's probably the case. I can't imagine any other use for them outside the car.

The door can be removed without undoing the spring from the pillar if you remove the roller setup first.
If you undo the spring from the pillar and remove the door, then it is a bit difficult to get the spring back in place and put the door back on. Far easier to remove the roller set up before removing door.

Now that's something else I hadn't realised.
PM to you last night Ken.
Happy New Year.
