You could assume the technology has advanced, compare the fan size to what is normally fitted to a car. Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 24, 2014, 09:59:55 AM I think you would be better off with a Smith's style water heater at the front but one of these could possibly work on the back window with some slits for demisting in a cold climate with slits but the normal system isn't very big for the amps drawn I wouldn't think. It's far better to go for a compact refrigerated ac to dry air out but I'm assuming you would use these as throw always each season perhaps given their price. At $13 no harm in trying!
Title: Re: 12V Ceramic Heater Fan for Vehicles Post by: fe350chev on December 24, 2014, 10:08:39 AM Just while on this subject I was thinking of using a new vintage air system but taking the pickup to the back of the car and doing what they do in the new vf Commodore with a pickup slit at the rear, so it encourages air to flow past the back window. This is the vf. I thought of running the pickup pipe or air intake from the back and actually dual purposing it as a wiring channel/air channel. Weird idea huh. |
