Just got these photos through of item 127. The COMET tail fins. I have never seen a set of these fitted to a car and never owned a pair either.
These would be classified as super rare by anyone's standard.

Just turn up cash in hand Slim. I think the fins might be the highlight. ;D

Sorry, point of order, you do just have to turn up on the day, but you must register in order to bid at the auction.
There is a small charge to enter the swap meet which is where the auction is held, but registration to bid at the auction is free.

OK how do I register, Do I register once I get there or is it Pre registration,,,  Iv got 28 Highlights in the list hopefully .. LOL ,       I will Be happy with  1 or 2 little wins tho ,, Were goin picking for the whole weekend.. So  it should make for a great stop whilst were down that way , C YA THERE

As many of you know , if youv been to my place , iv been collecting GENUINE  FX FJ FE FC FB EK EJ EH HD HR HT HG HK New old stock for some years know, So any opportunity that presents itself these days outside of the stupidity of Ebay , im interested in .. Iv NEVER seen them fins before Either, and  as an avid collector that gets round a fair bit  They alone are worth the trip. And im sure there will be some stiff competition to take them home.. I will start getting in shape for the rumble . . Cheers

An excellent night, very large crowd of enthusiastic bidders, lots of absentee bids kept me busy.
The Comet tailfins were amazing, was a buzz just to be able to touch them....
They made $750 which was perhaps not unexpected with the amount of interest that was shown in them.

It amazes me the items that still surface every now and then.
Just goes to show the keen interest some people have had over the years and have seen the need to put things away in new condition "for another time"

iv got a genuine 1 owner fc with heaps of Rare items on it, mirror clock, insect screen, grille badge, parcel shelf, scratch plates , door pulls , headlight wire baskets, SS&R Gauges, valve radio, Venetians, Reverse lights, Mudflaps, Boot light, Dress rims, Window visors, Fog lamps, Spats  And heaps more so im thinking that's where they will end up.. Gota get them chromed first. !!!!! :o :o, The hard part was finding them.. Items like that very rarely come along nowadays, And wen they do you just gota be prepared to bite the bullet to own them. Or the next time they come up for sale there double the price, normally on ebay.. !!!!
