Title: Re: Hunter Holden Cremorne Post by: Peter Phillips on June 18, 2003, 10:39:14 PM Why extend it? It's a great motor!!
If you buy from me at Hunter Holden Cremorne I will double the factory warranty, ie. 6 years/200,000 kms warranty free of charge. Title: Re: Hunter Holden Cremorne Post by: craiga on June 18, 2003, 10:47:21 PM Come on Geoff, that's a great offer, and too good to refuse.
200 000km warranty on a Gen 3 V8, that's at least 10 free engines!!! Have you seen the insert to the latest version of the owners manual?. Listed under "Service Items" for each 10 000km service docket are checkboxes for "Replace Oil", "Replace Oil Filter" and another for "Replace Engine"!!!! :o :o Title: Re: Hunter Holden Cremorne Post by: Wayne on June 19, 2003, 05:22:20 AM Why couldn't you have put this post up a few days earlier as I just brought a new commodore luma pick it up on friday Got it from parramatta Heartland gpt good deal.

Have you read the fine print for the Holden extended warranty. "Must be returned to place of purchase for service, otherwise warranty is void.Trust me ,I found out the hardway by not reading the fine print. Now I have to drive about 60kms to get my car serviced and because Ive got a gen 3 V8 ,I dont want to void the warranty. Thanks for the offer pete, How about offering club members a special price for VY one tonners.S model would do me without tray and i would probably cope with a V6,in Phantom Mica. Regards Geoff |
