Title: Spline On Gerabox Post by: KFH on May 04, 2014, 06:25:21 PM I am looking for the yoke of an old tail shaft to put into my gearbox to stop oil running out when I remove the tail shaft. Will the spline from an EH fit the FC box? Thanks in advance.

If you can't get a yoke, your local spare parts shop will have a multi-fit plastic dummy gearbox extension housing plug. If you do use a real yoke it may pay to wire it in place as the weight of them will cause it to slip off if the box is lifted too far off the horizontal. A Woolies plastic sink plug with a hole punched in it does a decent job, though a plastic bag wired over it is good insurance.
