Title: Rear track woes. Post by: Ol_Girl_58 on March 03, 2014, 09:50:34 AM Hi all,
We've just started converting the Centura diff to disc brakes, however it turns out that adding discs increases the rear track by 40mm each side. Unfortunately, I've already ordered my wheels. For everyone who has had their car engineered, are rear discs mandatory? Otherwise, I will keep my finned drums. Another solution is to shorten the diff, but that will be costly. Are there any other solutions? Cheers, Josh. Title: Re: Rear track woes. Post by: mcl1959 on March 03, 2014, 08:33:34 PM No requirement for 4 wheel discs that I know of. Just have to have rear drums and wheel cylinders matched to the front discs.
