Title: Voting buttons??? Post by: NES304 on January 24, 2014, 12:02:58 AM Bit of discussion a while back on people not liking posts. I had no idea what was doing until I was on the computer and noticed the up down arrows. So on page http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,22469.220.html I voted Pete's comment down (I like bananas). Got no idea if he get's notified or what.

Title: Re: Voting buttons??? Post by: RET on January 24, 2014, 07:30:09 AM Well, he's certainly notified now :)
For the sake of explanation for any seeking it, no, you cannot see who votes your post up or down. But if 5 people vote a post down, it gets hidden, so the point of the feature is to allow some Moderation democracy. If you think someone's post is inappropriate, down-vote it. On the other hand, if you read something you think is good - particularly answers to questions - up-vote. It's a good clue to someone coming later with the same question if one of the responses gets a lot of +s. cheers RET Title: Re: Voting buttons???
