Title: taxi rail Post by: hsv-001 on January 06, 2014, 02:05:38 PM I went around to my man who is making me some taxi rails . We have a unexpected problem . My bad, I had 2 taxi rails hanging from the rafters for many years and mistakenly thought I'd fitted both at one time or another . Turns out the one taxi rail that has a bent bracket is the one that I didn't give away and that's the one my mate is understandably having trouble making a jig for . So if I have time this afternoon i'll take my van around and trial fit and maybe tack it in place . Like someone said on this forum being close to the same taxi rail as ek-fb , someone may have tried to fit it to fb-ek and as they sit up at an angle, may have tried to bend it . Haydn

Title: Re: taxi rail Post by: hsv-001 on February 18, 2014, 11:58:12 AM Slow coming but going to do another trial fit on the taxi rail prototype tomorrow
(http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a589/hsv-001/SAM_0157_zps9dfe278b.jpg) ($2) Obviously the one at the back is the copy . The welding will be completed after trial fit tomorrow , then final fit of plugs countersink screw holes and polish . Sorry its taken so long but I have some medical conditions that get in the way of what I like to do [three herniated discs and a floating disc spur] and leaves me paralysed for extended periods . Health first - he needs to avoid aggravating the condition for things to improve. It's frustrating being restricted.
