Title: Tool for headlining
Post by: ekute on September 17, 2013, 09:17:54 PM
Does anybody have a tool to reset the teeth which hold a sedan headlining at the sides? I have tried to make one but just don't have the skills!

Anybody have one for hire?

Cheers Mark

Mark, I used a clip removal tool that I use when removing windscreens, worked ok on my sedan. I'm in Bargo let me know if you need a hand 0419632935.

Thanks Jim, Bargo is a bit too far from Batemans Bay for a hand! Can you show me a pic of the tool?

Cheers Mark

In the past I have used a small screwdriver to straighten the teeth. Will work OK if they just need bending down a little to grip better.

Have tried that Ken, but a lot of the teeth are squashed flat and would probably need the tool.
