They have taken my money (lots of it  :( ) so I would assume the supplier is going to send me some stuff.
I already have a waiting list of a few people for the roof lining, but if you are interested in either of these items please email me to get on the contact list when it arrives, please NO PMs as I get a lot of these and your request may get lost in the crowd -

I have 40 yards of both coming over which is about 36 metres, roof linings generally take 3m so I should get 12 out the roll.
Once the vinyl has landed I will work out a per metre cost and start taking people's money  ;D

Glenn, we are in Canada for three weeks visiting the relo's and just read your post looks like it's time to pull my finger out. We'll be back in town on the 23rd so I'll be in touch after that. Hope I'm still on the list?.                     Regards Jim

Well I am glad the production guy emailed me today, they were about to put through a batch of light blue rooflining and white Diamond pattern cargo vinyl  >:(

Apparently they are 10 days away from production, then comes the freight, as long as it's sent to Australia direct this time (not Austria then back to USA then to Australia) I might have something by the end of September.

Who wants to start a Sweep?  :P

Still waiting, still sending them emails, occasionally they reply.

Last message was literally "We are trying to sort this out for you", doesn't inspire confidence  :-\
It looks like the initial promised 3 weeks will blow out to 3 months (hopefully not 3 years  >:( )

Well apparently the "Diamond" cargo area vinyl is ready, but they are having trouble with the off-white rooflining (despite samples being sent).
I suspect they have lost my samples and are asking me to choose.

So, for those that are interested or in the know, which is the best match to the original off-white roof-lining (yes the picture is a little small).

Thanks Jim, but I really need to keep things moving with these guys, a delay on my end will probably blow things out another 3-4 months judging by the way they operate.
This order was supposed to take 3 weeks and I paid my money back in August  >:(

I email them at least once a month but usually every fortnight, with so much money tied up in this (I had to pay in full up front) don't worry I will be screaming out to everyone when it gets here  ;D

I'm surprise the bloke has the balls to write back at all after so long. It's amazing how the distance makes some feel there's little risk in treating clients like this. I really hope it eventuates for you.

We should start a fund raiser to raise funds for Stinky to go to the states and confront the guy.  It would be interesting to see what excuses he comes up with when face to face with stinky.

May be this way would be safer.

Anyway, the wagon cargo lining is confirmed to be on the way and they have the address correct (no stop-over in Austria this time  ::) )
It's currently in Melbourne.

A short update.

Cargo Vinyl - I have pieced together a complete old set of cargo vinyl and will soon be working on a repro kit.

Swirly Roof lining - apparently it left Melbourne last Thursday and is due to be delivered today or tomorrow, at this stage I am hoping it is the off-white colour that was promised  :-\

Prices are yet to be determined as SMS decided that they didn't charge me enough the first time around and hit me for another $400  >:(

Screw you around for several years before delivering something that was only supposed to take weeks, and then renege on the agreed price?

They've got balls, I'll give them that.  ::)

I can confirm the colour looks good under the fluoros of my workshop and the weight is much better than the first batch they sent over. At least SMS come up with quality goods when they eventually delivery the right order.
Cheeky buggers saw fit to use my roll to send a sample to someone though, a brand new roll with a 3cm x 3cm piece cut out of it  ::)

Does this mean I can have my headliner done in the repo item??

It would have been smarter to cut a piece off the full width of the roll.

Anyway, it's great news that comes only from your persistence & patience.
