run in to any problems ? tryed a set on the back of the EK but they dont sit flush to the brake drum ? cheers for any info Title: Re: ht hg rims Post by: jack_fc on May 06, 2013, 08:07:24 PM Cant help much, Dave, but if you do fit HT/HG rims, make sure to use wheel nuts to suit (not FE - HK nuts; different chamfer) Title: Re: ht hg rims Post by: 57effie on May 06, 2013, 08:58:20 PM I've been running HT rims on the back of my old girl for about 12 months. They have 185R/14 's light truck tyres on them. It was an experiment to see how much difference the taller tyre made to the final drive. Apart from the ride being a bit harsh and you cant use the original hub caps they are ok. You do need the correct nuts. If you have trouble Mr Lug nut should be able to help. I havnt bought anything of him for a while, don't know if he's still around. I think he's in Melbourne. Google him

They have a lumpy face that won't allow the rim to sit flush Might need none ribbed drums with the flat face Title: Re: ht hg rims Post by: 57effie on May 08, 2013, 02:13:30 PM Are you using hk rims because they're a different shape and don't fit.
