Title: Timing gear
Post by: Not Happy Jan on April 10, 2013, 06:03:13 AM
I know that this topic has been discussed in the past but I'm just wanting to check that the alloy timing gear would be the best replacement . What is the general consensus!
Where would be the best place to get a set?
eBay has a set to $290 pus p&h
Aussie speed has a set for $335 inc p&h
Rares has a fibre one form$199 I think but I think that it is only the cam shaft wheel?
Thanks Nick

When I ran sideplates I just used alloy cam gear only and after tightening the cam retaining screws x2 wiped a smear of grease across the gear to help quiet it till it wears in .cheers
