Dean. Title: Re: FUEL TANK - HEATER - OIL FILTER Post by: DN2168 on March 23, 2013, 06:28:36 PM Professor, you can get a liquid that you put inside the tank to stop leaks if it's only minor. Can't remember if you said there was a tank in the car.

There IS a tank in the old girl, and it doesn't leak. But it has so many big ugly dents/creases in it that I think it would hold only about 5 gallons. I'm too lazy to try to get the dents out, and I'd probably stuff it anyway. If I leave it in until I get a new tank at least it's useable. Cheers, Prof. Title: Re: FUEL TANK - HEATER - OIL FILTER Post by: JB on March 24, 2013, 10:09:35 AM Has anyone ever pressurised a tank to get the dents out? These tanks are not that thick, just wondering if you could put enough pressure in there to get some of the larger ones out.
