Title: FE FC Rear 1/4 Panel badge Post by: Rtaylor on May 21, 2003, 10:43:12 AM I am looking for an original new old stock, or excellent special bagde for the rear quarter panel for my FC. The reproduction type dsn't seem to fit all that well and looks a bit average on.
Title: Re: FE FC Rear 1/4 Panel badge Post by: RET on May 22, 2003, 04:29:24 AM I take it you're referring to the "Special" script and not the triangular Holden badge? Yes the repro ones are a bit dodgy. The lugs don't fit the holes in the body-work properly.
One trick I've heard of is to cut them down so they do fit neatly. You take a piece out of the section that goes underneath the triangular badge. Measure twice, cut once ;) cheers RET |
