Title: Rear inertia seat belt mounting points Post by: FC 304 wannabe on February 23, 2013, 07:48:14 PM Quick question...
When mounting inertia lap sash belts in the back. ( rear top of parcel tray) where are the best mounting points located??? Title: Re: Rear inertia seat belt mounting points Post by: brett_f on February 24, 2013, 09:46:21 AM I have mine located in the far corners. Must have plates underneath to support them. Also remember the plates must not have corners as the engineers wont accept them (most) as they say they will act ike a can opener. This also relates to all other plates used for the seat belts.

Do I mount the bottom anchor points to the wheel arch , or the floor ?? I'm leaning towards the wheel arch just below the seat line... ??? Title: Re: Rear inertia seat belt mounting points Post by: mcl1959 on February 24, 2013, 12:11:50 PM The wheel arches are best, this keeps the belt in tight against the arch. Later Holdens which had seat belt points fitted from the factory use the spot exactly as you describe.
