Title: Hr Holden Gas install Post by: Oggz on February 07, 2013, 11:10:10 PM Recently brought a HR ute. shouldn't have, but to good a price/condition to turn down. It needed some work to get going, mostly a gear box change as it had a bush rigged m20 install that was not road worth. It came with a motor that had a powerglide attached and bits off the premier that it came out of to fit it. The ute has Gas installed, looks pretty old, the inlet for the gas has been milled into the side of the stock carby. I believe the tank is now out of date and needs testing
Cheapest quote so far to get tank tested and gas cert is $480. Question is, do i keep the gas or rip it out? I have several arguments against and for keeping it but i dont know much about gas and thought i would throw it out there.
