Title: installing extractors
Post by: Not Happy Jan on January 16, 2013, 08:34:10 AM
Hi All
I have a hole in my engine pipe so have to get it replaced anyway and I have a set of extractors at home that came off the wagon. So I thought I would install the extractors. I looked at the old inlet manifold that was on the wagon and the PO has just taken off the exhaust manifold and installed the extractors? So is that the correct way to do it. Is there a better aftermarket single barrell inlet manifold available?
Thanks Nick

That's the only way I have seen it done.
Can't say I have ever seen an aftermarket manifold for the standard carby.
I doubt there would be any gain other than appearance if there was.
Regards
Alex
