Title: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: Stewy on December 08, 2012, 11:34:33 PM Hi, do any of you station sedan owners FE or FC, have a picture that you can post of the spare wheel retaining bracket in position with the cargo floor cover out ?
Thanks in advance Cheers Stewy 8) Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: NES304 on December 09, 2012, 03:34:20 PM (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/12/09/a7azypa2.jpg)

Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: vivan on December 12, 2012, 10:46:24 AM Hi just figured it out last night. so easy but so hard. computer retard so cant put pic on but put wheel in and push towards back seat as far as you can so it goes under floor a bit . mine is 175 wide and im not sure how much wider you could fit. lift up the threaded rod at the rear of cargo area under floor so end of rod towards sky, now put your bracket on.... the bracket goes on with wide end resting on tyre and thin end towards back of car but the bit that catches you out is the smooth side of bracket goes against tyre so it more pushes tyre towards front of car rather than down . if you dont understand text me and i will send pic on phone remember smooth side down . vivan 0419265326. do you know where bottle jack lives? i dont

Pretty sure the station sedans came with a scissor jack only which just sits in the well. Always willing to take advice :) Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: Stewy on December 12, 2012, 01:35:20 PM Just checked the manual (If all else fails read the instructions!)
scissor or Side Sill Jack is for sedan only. So Under Axle Jack, bottle type is shown for other variations. Still would have been nice to have put a picture in the book of the wagon spare tyre and jack position. cheers Stewy 8) Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: zulu on December 12, 2012, 07:34:17 PM This may be of help Stewy (http://s14.postimage.org/wnys8nbjx/Picture_003.jpg) ($2) I don't recall which of the 2 on the right hand side it is, but the spare hardly fits in there let alone move Gary Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: Stewy on December 12, 2012, 08:35:21 PM Thanks gary, the one I have is the one on the right, and the picture that I have from vivan shows the middle one but bent at 90 degrees.
So if anyone has a memory of an original wagon spare tyre setup I would be most grateful :) Cheers Stewy 8) Title: Re: Station Sedan spare wheel bracket Post by: collecta on December 12, 2012, 10:06:07 PM Hey Stewy, as per previous conversations regarding the spare wheel bracket, the centre one is the one i have which i believed to be wagon also.
