Title: FCs at Barham NSW Clearing Sale Post by: Trevor_B on November 20, 2012, 02:16:23 PM Hi,
Came across these 3 FCs last Sunday at a clearing sale near Barham NSW (on the Murray, not far from Kerang). (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/FCsedanBlueNwhite.jpg) (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/FCstdSedan.jpg) (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/FCute_.jpg) They sold at $200, $50 & $30 respectively and no, I did not buy them :-\ They went to a local guy who only wanted a couple of parts. I understand at the end of the Auction he couldn't even remember what he paid :D I did buy a couple of "mystery boxes" and found a few useful parts but the auctioneer was a bit funny.... once you put in a starting bid he kept your bid going until you either won or specifically told him that you had stopped bidding - weird. He also sold 2 fergy tractors for $920 when everyone thought he was selling just 1. The first one was pretty bad however the 2nd was a good one - probably would have gone for $2K+by itself if we just understood what he was doing :-\ Below are the ID tags for those interested, sorry about the last one (the std sedan) as it is a bit unreadable. No motors/engines in them. BTW, a badly rusted EH wagon with no straight panels went for $1500! At least $1250 more than it was worth :o (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/IDplate1.jpg) (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/IDplate2.jpg) (http://members.optusnet.com.au/blackct/IDplate3.jpg) Cheers, Trevor_B Title: Re: FCs at Barham NSW Clearing Sale Post by: mcl1959 on November 21, 2012, 09:39:07 PM Yes shame about the last tag - rare car indeed - a SECV fleet car painted in comission grey
