Title: Hazzard Lights
Post by: KFH on November 09, 2012, 12:15:30 PM
Has anybody converted an original FC so hazzard lights can be used?  I have an idea which I think will work however I do not want to re invent the wheel if somebody has already done this. My idea is to mount the switch in a concealed position so the car will look original.

Hi Keith,

Brett_F has done a neat Hazard light switch installation on his handbrake:

Thanks Trevor and Craig. I was thinking along similar lines to that for the switch as well.  It was not the switch position I was looking for but the method of connecting  into the original wiring.  My thoughts are to use another flasher unit, fused, and couple this to the left and right circuits via a pair of suitable rated diodes.  Any further thoughts?
