So long as the dropped stubs are drilled for commodore calipers. The bearings fit no problem, but calipers will not bolt up to HR pattern or HQ pattern calipers bolt holes

thanks ken, I read an earlier post that you stated early crs stubs have an allowance for this. mine do, but was not sure on the bearings as they have a different part number (repco) to vn and vp commodore

G'day Fred,
VR Commodore front hubs have a sealed hub assembly and wont fit.
VN-VP bearings will fit ;)

Ace do I have to fit VN/VPhubs and discs? or can I use other bearings and still use VR?

Fred

VR rotors are a push fit over a hub that contains a sealed double race roller bearing.

You will need VN/VP rotors to fit on the CRS stubs. Keep in mind there are two sizes for front rotors depending on whether you are fitting V6 or V8 engine.

The V8 rotors from memory are 290mm in diameter.

Hope this helps

I've been out of this for too long - my memory is completely going :-\
The VR was the first to use the sealed bearing - as stated they no longer use the old A and B bearings.

Sorry for misleading you
