Title: Ute rear floor under false plywood cover Post by: RichFC on October 03, 2012, 02:32:33 PM Gday Guys,I was wondering if anyone could help me in regard to rust repairs in ute floor{rear}.
Is the wagon floor pan exactly the same as the ute? Also is the petrol tank in the same position on both ute and wagon. And is there something that goes over the petrol tank in the utes or does the spare wheel sit directly on top of the tank? Im assuming there would have been something like a cover plate otherwise the spare wheel may damage the petrol tanks sender unit or foul on the wiring for it? Any help would be appreciated! My petrol is ok but where it is mounted is just about rotted out and tank is being held in only by a couple of screws and a fair bit of rust! Thank you very much! The spare wheel does sit on top of the tank.
