hi all  does anybody know of a coloum that will suit a front mount rack i have a standard modified fc in it but is to far from dash i was thinking vl commodore any tips thanks john

hi thanks no i dont need shifter on column as i have floor shift just need to get wheel away from big gut and the shaft  keeps poping out of joint where bolt goes thru very scary steering wheel spinning so i am tossing steering to try some other way

You can always shorten the column you have.

Cut down outer tube, shorten the shaft and have it re splined and thread re cut.

I've had mine shortened 3 inches including gear change tube.

I shortened mine and you are allready running a rack so do it on the bottom side have it machined to accept your uni and just cut your tube down.
I assume you have a nylon bush in the bottom of the colum allready so remove it and shorten it up from there.
