Post by: Dave Lakin (Davo Lako) on July 17, 2012, 11:03:37 AM

I pulled mine out with the box with one and it didn't strain

Dave,

The basic SuperCheap engine stand (from memory 450kg capacity) will hold a grey, though the frame distorts a little (wants to put the nose of the engine down). Not a major deal, though I built a simple brace out of scrap RHS to go on the nose of mine. The crashbox won't be attached on the stand, but weighs little anyway (27kg no clutch, flywheel or oil).

Cheers,
Harv.
