Title: Wheel alignment
Post by: Crackers on April 30, 2012, 01:36:32 PM
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere in the northern or western suburbs of Melbourne that conduct wheel alignment with TLC and understand how to get the old vehicles set up correctly.

I just don't want to take it to the standard places that tell you the computer says it's fine, so it's fine....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Crackers,

Drive around and look for a wheel/tyre shop with nice cars in there.... not new cars but street machines, hot rods and restored cars... they will do it properly.

Cheers

Ed

Hey Crakers

What Ed said

I was in staying in South Melb before the Vic Nationals and wanted to get my brakes adjusted.  It was pissing down and I was parked in the street...so I took a walk around the light industrial area opposite and looked in all the mech workshops. Came accross one with a couple of older cars in it. Asked if they could do the work...said he would love to do work on the old girl and show his apprentices how its done

Went back to pick it up in the afternoon ...took it for a test drive...all good...$70.00..That included a grease up as well...he thought that as I had come from WA it was due for one

Just gotta find the right shop

Cheers
Gary
