Title: Genuine Police radio... or sellers wishful thinking?
Post by: Harv on April 05, 2012, 11:56:29 AM
Calling all cars, calling all cars....

An early radio has turned up in an out-of-the-way shop - any views as to whether it's a genuine Police radio (or likely era)?

Cheers,
Harv.

Hi Harv,
My father in law was a policeman in adelaide for 34 years and I showed him the photo.
He says the bottom one looks familiar as he started in FJs but in the early sixties he was posted in the southeast,
and the country cars didn't have any.
The top unit looks alot more modern and we thought late sixties.

Any idea what they want for the radio? And how I would go about buying it as I'm not a member over there....yet...

they posted the shop details
buy it direct and get them to post it,
if you trust them
