Title: Steer rack shorten Post by: NES304 on March 27, 2012, 07:01:10 AM I have a bloke who can shorten a steering rack so I can rear mount on my HR front end. Thought I'd get some other opinions so I rang around. I've had a few steering mobs tell me just to shorten the ends instead of cutting the centre part. Wouldn't I run into some issues if the ends don't pivot in similar angle to the lower wishbone?
If I am running the VT discs then how much over all does it need to be shortened? Thanks in advance.......
