Just wondering who would i speak to, or anybody in the area could give me some light on what's going on with my Fc.

carby should be fine, doesn't seem to have a fuel block.
Car is at mine in Surfers on the gold coast.

anyone that can help feel free to call me, email or text.

Sounds like an electrical problem - how long since tuned?  I would look at points, plugs and leads first, then work on through distributor cap, rotor button, coil and capacitor after that. Could be other things but do these first.

+1 with ken

I had the same thing the other week, thought it was the points, so i decided to change out and fit electronic,
and whilst doing so i found that 1 spark plug had lost it tip inside the lead, so only running on 5 cylinders and the wiring to the coil was frayed,

rewired the car and fitted electronic ignition, new button, cap, leads, plugs and coil and now runs like a new engine,

if i were you get your self a test light or multimeter,
